I found Donna on Craigslist and was desperate for someone to watch my cats for (4) days. I was a little bit concerned that I would be allowing someone that I didn't know to have access to my house while we were absent. Donna showed up for the first meeting on time and immediately she put me at ease. When I left for my ski trip I had zero worries about my cats and household while I was gone.
I had an idea to ask her to text me photos of the cats when she came the (2) times per day, but thought it might be a little excessive...Donna exceeded my expectations by doing just that without me even asking. I was totally impressed! It is a great feeling to be away and get reassurance texts throughout the day. When I returned there was a hand-written receipt on the dining table with visit verification tabs for each visit. Much more professional than I even expected. It is good to see there is still quality service out there in a sea of scammers! ~Kurt

Donna provided pet-sitting services for my dog. The service included an overnight stay.Donna promptly returned my voicemail and accommodated my schedule for a no-cost meet & greet. She was punctual and came with treats in her pocket to warm up to my nervous dog. Donna demonstrated confidence with my pet and listened to my description of my pet's habits and outdoor routine. At the end of the meet & greet, I booked her for an overnight stay (two full days). On Day 1, Donna sent me video clips of her arrival and re-introduction to my dog. Throughout the visits, she texted photos and messages, reassuring me that everything was going smoothly. My dog had warmed up to her easily. At the end of Day 2, my flight home was delayed a few hours. I contacted Donna to ask her if she could let out the dog one more time and even possibly stay another night, which she agreed without hesitation. I was grateful Donna made another visit that night before I made it home. I felt very comfortable knowing my pet was being well cared for. Donna has a genuine affection for animals, and she made me feel like my dog was her favorite. I rated the cost "Good" instead of "Excellent" only because it is understandably higher than a traditional dog kennel. The cost/value was well worth the peace of mind. Donna is professional, and she takes great care to gather information about your pet(s), their habits, likes/dislikes, and home environment to ensure a smooth experience. Donna Stayed overnight the entire time I was out of town. Fed and walked Played and provided wonderful companionship for my puppy. Brought in mail and kept my house extremely tidy. Kept me well informed with all of Lola's activities (w/pictures and videos) I could not have been happier, if you are on this site looking for a pet sitter, then you care about, spoil and want the best for you 4 legged babies. I could never kennel my 6 year old Golden Retriever so I began to search for a new sitter. Lola's previous sitter began a full time job and could no longer sit. It's a very hard decision to allow someone into your home with your best friend. After meeting Donna I did not have a worry in the world. Lola was so happy, Donna sent videos and pictures daily and kept me very well informed and let me say Lola's tail was wagging pretty fast. It's also nice to know there is someone at your home while gone. Donna is so dependable and I came home to a very happy pup and a clean house. I would recommend Donna very highly. ~JoAnne

Donna stayed with our three dogs over night on a few occasions. She fed them, played with them, walked them, and kept them company. The dogs loved her. Our initial meet and greet prior to the first overnight stay helped get the dogs acquainted with Donna. She was prompt, friendly, attentive to the dogs' needs. She even brought a folder with information about her and her business which we really appreciated. The first overnight visit went so well, we had her back when we went out of town for a week. When we met to give Donna the house key for our second trip, the dogs greeted her as if she was an old buddy. That NEVER happens. Every day we received updates on the dogs, often accompanied with photos of their behavior, and Donna also kept a journal of their activities and responses at the house for us to read when we returned. Donna watched our golden on 4 separate occasions from September to December. We actually live in another state and came to St. Louis for sporting events. Donna was incredibly aacommodating our our time and schedules and we found her pet sitting services to be top notch.

Donna is amazing with animals. Our golden is rather timid around new people and has not traveled all that much in her lifetime, however, she took to Donna very well. Coming to a new city and not knowing anyone to watch our dog was rather nerve wracking for us as parents of a kid with fur. Donna was awesome from the start. She was accomodating of our schedules and never did we worry about our pet while in Donna's care. Donna is so kind and truly loves animals. We plan to utilize Donna's pet sitting services each year while we are in St. Louis. We would not consider using anyone but Donna to care for our pet. ~Joleen

We offer every pet care service available, (with the exception of grooming). Whether it's to just let your pet out into fenced yard, take him/her for a walk; litterbox cleaning; feeding & watering, pet taxi, keeping company, daily visits, help administering medicine, overnight care, etc. You name it, we do it.

*For overnight stays, we will service any area within 20 miles of 63141. (Please view map of service area on the Service and Rates page.)

*For overnight stays, we will give full love and attention to your pet(s) a total of 12+ minimum hours each day and will keep your stay on schedule of your pets normal routine:
your pet(s) will never be left alone longer than 6 hours MAX at one time, (and if that is too long, we can make other arrangements at no extra cost!)
Unlike other pet care services, our overnight fee includes care throughout the entire day (vs. charging extra for daily visits).
Other care providers charge the same fee (or more!) for only an 8-10 hour overnight stay and then charge extra for daily visits, and don't even arrive for the overnight until 8-10 in the evening! Repeating: Unlike other pet care givers, our overnight rate includes care throughout the entire day and night, not just overnight.  We basically live in your home, with your best friend(s), only leaving if we have clients needing to be let out or walked, and we're usually only gone a few hours at a time.

*Overnights include general housekeeping, feeding & watering pets & plants, playing with and showing GENUINE affection to your pets, home security, going for walks, newspaper/mail retrieval, even house cleaning & landscape work at no extra charge if requested, poop scoops, trash in/out, and anything else you may need done (while keeping your best friend(s) company, we might as well make ourselves useful in other ways too!)
You can rest assured, when it comes to your home and personal belongings: if we don't need it to care for your pet, we don't touch it! Maybe with the exception of the remote control, the fridge, the microwave and the (cough) toilet :-)
AND WE WELCOME NANNY CAMS!!! (except in the bathroom of course!) HOW ELSE WOULD YOU SEE HOW GREAT WE ARE WITH YOUR PET(S)?
And of course we bring our own food and drinks (for us, not your pets sorry :-).
We do not do drugs, and very rarely drink alcohol...(special occasions maybe...and although caring for your pet is of course, a special occasion, it doesn't warrant any alcohol beverages :-).

The Care and Welfare of your Pet.

It is our job to stay as close to your schedule as conceivably possible. This includes: Feeding, Watering, Walking, Medications,
Brushing, Rolling around on the floor, or simply "Family Fun Time", etc.

It is our passion to care for and give love to as many of God's creatures as we possibly can.

*BE ADVISED: if we feel your pets are not being treated humanely, we WILL NOT hesitate to report you. As a member of the ASPCA, Missouri Animal Rescue, and The Animal Protection Association of Missouri, Donna will not think twice about removing an abused animal from it's environment immediately.
This includes repeated breeding without a license.
(PLEASE report animal abuse!! You can do so right here, using this website, and stay anonymous if you prefer. Just click on the "contact us" link at the top of the page. Just give the address of where the animal(s) are located and a brief description. And don't forget: animals left outside in extreme weather conditions without adequate food, water & shelter ARE INDEED abused animals).

We will schedule a free in-home meeting in your home (or one of ours; or both, if you'd like). In that meeting, you receive a packet containing:

List of References - which we do suggest you call, copy of driver's license, contact info, background check report.
Vet Notification Form - to be used in the event your pet/family member would ever need to be treated, and…last, but not least,
Contract Service Agreement- giving us everything we need to know about your home and home security.
